Sketchbook, Ink and Color is a behind-the-scenes playlist created to show how my comic pages and artwork actually come to life — from rough sketchbook layouts, to clean inks, to final color.
This series is all about the real process. You’ll see the early ideas, the layout decisions, the redraws, the problem-solving, and the small adjustments that happen between the first pencil line and the finished panel. I wanted this playlist to feel honest and useful — not just a highlight reel, but a true look at how pages are built.
If you enjoy watching how artwork evolves, this playlist is for you. Each video focuses on how I construct a page, develop the characters, refine composition, and push the artwork forward step by step until it reaches its final look for my Silver Ray Gun projects.
The first five videos are now available, with many more on the way. New episodes will continue to expand on different parts of the workflow, including layout planning, inking techniques, color choices, and how I adjust a page when something isn’t working visually or narratively.
This playlist also covers the art process across multiple projects, giving you a broader look at how different styles, stories, and creative goals influence the way each page is built. Whether I’m working on character-driven scenes, action moments, or atmosphere-heavy panels, the goal is to show how each piece comes together from start to finish.
If you’re an artist, a comic creator, or simply a fan who enjoys seeing how stories grow from the first sketch to the final image, this series was made for you.
